One of the things I see is what makes the difference between success and failure. The principle is universal and so applies to any endeavour in fact including fat loss, business success, relationships and learning a new skill. Although all the winners seem to be using it, I'm not sure they realise they are doing it. Worse still, those who seem to struggle don't seem to realise that this is the key to success.
We are by our nature often lazy. We look for the quick fix, fast results and proven systems. You only need look at Facebook adverts and home shopping channels to see the promise of quick results for minimal effort. “Instant Six Pack” is an example or “Learn Chinese the Easy Way.” Yeah right.
So, onto the ‘secret' to success. If you apply it then success will follow. The secret is consistency. Doing a little bit every day will get you to your destination. It's just the way things work I'm afraid. You can't do a 3 hour workout once per week and expect results. You can't study all day on a Sunday and then not at all for the other six days of the week. Our bodies and minds don't work this way.
So time for action. Block out X hours EVERY DAY to study and do it. I've heard all the reasons why you can't do it such as long hours, kids etc. I've been there myself. There is always an answer such as get up earlier, study during a lunch break, get the train or bus home and study while you travel. Record your book onto audio and listen while driving.
You now know the secret. So go apply it.
